Photo Friday: textured flower images

“I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.”

“People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.”
― Iris Murdoch

“Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair…”
― Susan Polis Schutz

“In joy or sadness flowers are our constant friends.”
― Kakuzō Okakura, The Book Of Tea

“I will be the gladdest thing
Under the sun!
I will touch a hundred flowers
And not pick one.”

I hope you make it out to Chicago this summer. I’d love to go to the Botanic Gardens with you. You will love it.

  4. Flowers, my favorite. I love the textures. I so need to get better at photoshop! I love how a single image can look so different just by adding texture. Beautiful!

    1. I know! It’s surprisingly easy too. Kim Klassen has a video tutorial on her site. I can email you some textures to try if you like.
