Creativity boot camp

It’s Spring Training time! Yes, I know.  We will just be getting home from a week in Italy and I will have to pack and get ready to move to a new house.  I’m crazy.  But this is just too fabulous to miss! Plus, if I don’t have an escape I may get overwhelmed.  This is self preservation here, folks.  🙂

Maegan Beishline developed this two-week course to be “all about artistic exploration…and through that exploration, getting to know yourself as an artist. It is all about doing the work and flexing the creative muscles in an effort to get to the place where you are producing very authentic work…the work of your soul. Each day of the two week course, there will be a different essay on creativity, an activity to go along with that essay, and some ideas for journaling or further thinking. Also, throughout the course, there will be thoughts and inspiration shared by other artists to really dive into the different mediums.”

Half of the registration fee is given to Show Hope, a non-profit organization that mobilizes individuals and communities to meet the most pressing needs of orphans in distress by providing 1) homes for waiting children through adoption aid grants, and 2) life-saving medical care for orphans with special needs.  Show Hope addresses many facets of the worldwide orphan crisis and is making positive and encouraging strides towards a problem that needs this sort of comprehensive attention.

Does anyone want to take this course with me? I can hardly wait!
